STATE OF MINNESOO <br /> DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATION <br /> <br />MINNESOTA CABLE COMMUNICATION BOARD ) <br /> 5oo race STREET, SA .T PAUL, ..ESOTA <br /> <br />March 25, 1980 <br /> <br />TO: <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br /> <br />On January 21, 1980, Harmon & Company, Inc., a Colorado corporation <br />planning to seek cable franchises in this area, proposed a cable service <br />territory (CST) consisting of the corporate limits of three suburban <br />municipalities in the northern section of the Twin Cities metropolitan <br />area: Anoka, Champlin and Ramsey. <br /> <br />The municipalities have already responded to our offer of counsel and <br />advice during this period of the Board's consideration of the CST <br />proposal. <br /> <br />At its meeting on Friday, April 1i, 1980 at 9:00 a.m., the Cable Board <br />has set aside a period for comments from parties interested in the pro- <br />posed CST--not only from municipalities included in the original proposal <br />and those who may wish to be, but also from other interested municipali- <br />ties, organizations, agencies, school districts, units of government and <br />~ndividuals. <br /> <br />Written comments are welcome at any time up to the May 9, 1980 meeting <br />when the Board, by statute, could make its decision to approve, reject or <br />delay consideration of the proposed CST[ But the Board is particularly <br />interested in receiving oral and/or written comment at the April 11, 1980 <br />meeting.
