Councilman Cox also said Gilbert Menkveld might work out an arrangement <br />for right-of-way northerly of what we are presently trying to acquire. <br />Councilman Cox said the City should talk to Mr. Schenk and see if he <br />wants to go forward or not, and if he does not we should work out some- <br />thing with Mr. Menkveld. Mayor Gamec said we eould give one final <br />attempt to acquire this required right-of-way from M~. Schenk. <br /> <br />Councilman Cox thinks we should get a 'letter from Mr. Menkveld confirm- <br />ng that he will work out an arrangement so that we can acquire the right- <br />of-way. <br /> <br />A general discussion on an airport development in the City followed. <br /> <br />Motion by Co~ncilmanMickelson and seconded by Councilman Sorteberg to <br />alot $2,000 for an airport feasibility study. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting no None. <br /> <br />1980 STREET ~PROVEMENTS <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Mickelson to adopt <br />resolutions 80-17, 80-18 and 80-19 which are resolutions receiving the <br />feasibility reports and calling for public hearings on the proposed <br />street improvements in Halland Acres, Peltzer Addition, Beaudry's 2nd <br />Addition and the Unplatted Hagen's subdivision. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Cotuncilmen Mickelson, Reimann, <br />Sorteberg and Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />STREET ASSESSMENT; GARY SIGAF00 <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Mickelson to direct <br />staff to prepare findings of fact with regard to the buildability of this <br />parcel which is located at 162nd Lane N.W., which findings are to be <br />presented at the Council's April 8, 1980 meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Mickelson, Reimann, <br />Sorteberg and Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />Mr. Sigafoo was present and said he would like to make both parcels as <br />one buildable lot. A discussion followed by Cotuncil on what is and is <br />not a buildable lot. <br /> <br />STREET ASSESSMENT; LEON BRAY <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman M~ckelson to direct <br />staff to prepare finding of fact regarding the buildability of ~.
