REPORT ON THE FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR <br />176TH AVENUE N.W., 180TH AVENUE N.W. <br />ERMINE BOULEVARD N.W., HALAS STREET N.W. <br /> AND EATON STREET N.W. <br /> BITUMINOUS STREET PAVING <br /> <br />Scope.: <br /> <br />The purpose of this report is to discuss the feasibility of providing bituminous <br />surfacing on the above referenced streets. The petition for the street improve- <br />ment project did not include 180th Avenue N.W. and Halas Street N.W.; however, <br />both the streets are cul-de-sacs,'which exit. unto Ermine Boulevard N.W. Since <br />the residents on those streets will receive benefit from upgrading Ermine- <br />Boulevard, those streets were included in the overall project. This report also <br />provides a cursory review of the existing drainage system within:~the project <br />area. ~ <br /> <br />The project area lies within the NW~ and the N½ of the S~4 of Section 6, <br /> <br />Township 32 North, Range 25 West, City of Ramsey, Anoka county, Minnesota. <br /> <br />The project is generally bo'unded by the City limits on the north and west, <br />County Road No. 83 on the east and 175th Avenue N.W. extended on the south as <br />shown on Exhibit A. <br /> <br />Existing Conditions:' <br /> <br />The present street network consists of a rural street section with a gravel <br />or sand surface approximately 26 to 30 feet in width. <br /> <br />The present drainage system utilize driveway culverts, drainage channels, <br />ponding areas and County Ditch No. 51 which outlets to Trott Brook. The present <br />system, although reviewed in a preliminary manner, appears operational with the <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
