City Planner Anderson reported that the fall recycling event will take place this Saturday from <br /> 8:00 a.m. to noon at the public works facility and reviewed a list of items that will be accepted. <br /> • Happy Days Organics Update <br /> City Planner Anderson stated that Happy Days took place a little over one week ago. He advised <br /> that the organics program was run again this year where vendors were encouraged to use <br /> compostable materials. He stated that he did receive many positive comments on the program <br /> and noted the reduction in trash compared to compostable materials. He advised that there were <br /> also educational volunteers that assisted with sorting and education of visitors. He stated that <br /> vendors also provided positive feedback to the proactive efforts of the City. <br /> • Best of B3 Benchmarking Award Finalist <br /> City Planner Anderson announced that Ramsey has been nominated for the Best of B3 <br /> Benchmarking Award. <br /> 7.
