Exception 3: That part of Tract A lying southerly of the southerly boundary of Exception <br /> 2. <br /> (The Subject Property) <br /> AND WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Plan approved in 2010 shows the Subject Property <br /> designated land use as Rural Developing; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Applicant is requesting that the designated land use of the Subject Property <br /> be changed to Low Density Residential; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey Planning Commission met on October 6, 2016, conducted a public <br /> hearing, and recommended that the Ramsey City Council approve/deny the Applicant's request for an <br /> amendment to the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RAMSEY,ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> 1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the request for a land use designation change of <br /> the Subject Property from Rural Developing to Low Density Residential. <br /> 2) That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes City Staff to submit the necessary <br /> documentation to Metropolitan Council for an amendment to the 2010 Comprehensive Plan to <br /> change the land use designation to Low Density Residential. <br /> 3) That this land use change shall become effective concurrent with the City's receipt of notification <br /> of approval from Metropolitan Council. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> and the following voted against the same: <br /> and the following abstained: <br /> and the following were absent: <br /> whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the <br /> day of October, 2016. <br /> RESOLUTION#16-10-185 <br /> Page 2 of 3 <br />
