Motion by Commissioner Bauer, seconded by Commissioner VanScoy, to approve the following <br /> minutes as presented: Planning Commission Meeting Minutes dated September 1, 2016. <br /> Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Levine, Commissioners Bauer, VanScoy, Andrusko, <br /> Brauer, and Nosan. Voting No: None. Absent: None. <br /> 5. PUBLIC HEARINGS/COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> 5.01: Public Hearing: Consider a Request for a Variance to the Front Yard Setback on <br /> the Property Located at 16062 Rhinestone Street NW; Case of Trilogy Homes,Inc. <br /> Public Hearing <br /> Chairperson Levine called the public hearing to order at 7:01 p.m. <br /> Presentation <br /> City Planner Anderson presented the staff report stating the City has received an application from <br /> Trilogy Homes, Inc. (the "Applicant") requesting a variance to the minimum front yard setback <br /> on the property located at 16062 Rhinestone St NW (the "Subject Property") to allow a twenty- <br /> five (25) foot setback. Staff discussed the request in further detail and recommended approval of <br /> the variance. <br /> Citizen Input <br /> Greg Bauer, 7212 160th Lane NE, explained he was hoping to build his home on this lot and <br /> thanked the Commission for their consideration. <br /> Chairperson Levine believed the Commission was in agreement on this request. <br /> Commissioner Brauer appreciated the way this request was brought to the City. <br /> Motion by Commissioner Bauer, seconded by Commissioner VanScoy, to close the public <br /> hearing. <br /> Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Levine, Commissioners Bauer, VanScoy, Andrusko, <br /> Brauer, and Nosan. Voting No: None. Absent: None. <br /> Chairperson Levine closed the public hearing closed at 7:09 p.m. <br /> Commission Business <br /> Commissioner Andrusko supported the request and noted the conditions were not caused by the <br /> applicant. <br /> Planning Commission/October 6, 2016 <br /> Page 2 of 13 <br />
