Weaver: <br /> <br />The Hinnesota I)eo:trtn;ent of Transportation has reviewed the <br />Critical Area Plan and proposed re!3u].ations for the City of <br />Ramsey and offer' the following cop-:nents: <br /> <br />PaF, es 31 and 32 indicate a desire for reducing the <br />commercial activity in thc T.H. 52 and County Road <br />1'2 intersection because of the ooor access to 'the <br />roadways. 'Fo provide adequate access would resuire <br />major hiLg,-,v~av improvements fo'r which fund:.'.ng would <br />be questionable; therefore, the conce,ot of reducin.~: <br />the co;;~nercial zone is supported. In. the same vein, <br />Policy 10 on Page 40 is also supported' <br /> <br />Pages 51 throu?,l~ 54 discuss the hzghway ,.acz~ities <br />involved in thc Critical Area. Conqestion nroblems <br />are noted and some cOnCeDES for improvement are offered <br />as hart of a Transportation Plan for each of the <br />communities.
