City of Ramsey
15153 NOWTHEN BOULEVARD N.W., RAMSEY, MINNESOTA 55303 · (612) 427-1410

April 18, 1980

Mr. Frank Jerich
Midwestern Underground Construction Company
P. O. Box 416
Anoka, Minnesota 55303

RE: Your letter dated April 2, 1980

Dear Mr. Jerich:

The City Council reviewed the above dated letter at their regular meet-
ing on April 8, 1980. They were rather surprised with the comments con-
tained in your letter in that City staff members and Councilman Cox met
with Mr. Ron Jerich prior to the regular Council meeting dated March 11,
1980 to go over the proposed site plan and building plan. After that
meeting it appeared all parties were in agreement and that ~. Jerich
would provide the City with the proper plans to be used as an exhibit
with this contract.

Council at their meeting of March ll, 1980 approved o£ it based on the
above. Normally Council doesn't approve of these until all supporting
documents are before them but'made an exception in this case.

Consequently, calls were made to your office by the City's Building
Official to get the information. Finally a letter was sent from the
City requesting it so you could proceed with your proposed building.
Therefore, the City finds it rather difficult to understand your course
of action.

In reference to your escrow funds the City Council has directed that it
be returned minus any costs the City has incurred in the processing
of the proposed site and building plan.

Further, please feel free to contact this office if you have any
questions on this matter.

Sincerely,

Admini ~trator/ClerR

cc: ..Ra~s,.ey City Council
