Council Agenda - Council new business enclosure D-3, Case #ia <br />regarding petition for street improvement in Hagen's unplatted sub- <br />division. It shonld be noted that there are 46 residential dwellings <br />out of the total 58 assessable nnits and the petition didn't get to <br />four (4) households for one reason or another. Consequently, you <br />have a very large majority for it. <br /> <br />2. Budget: We are going to start working on the City Budget for <br />1981 this month. Consequently, Council members should start re- <br />viewing in their own minds special needs of the City for 1981 and <br />these thoughts submitted into the City office for incorporation into <br />the proposed budget'. <br /> <br />3. ~uarterly Budget Report '1980 (lst 'quarter January, Februaryand <br />March, i~80)': The quarterly report for the 1st quarter spending is <br />really staying in line with the budget which is really good news with <br />the inflation we are up against. <br /> <br />Jeanne really prepared an indepth report when she does this quarterly <br />report for the City. Consequently, it gives everyone who is concerned <br />about City spending a good overall view' of the City's expenditures <br />to budget for 1980. <br /> <br />4. General Information: The following is informational only but <br />Counc~'l should note. <br /> <br /> a) City Radios - These are now being installed in City vehi- <br />cles. The hold On these radios has been getting the license. <br /> <br /> b) Court Case, City 'vs. 'Harris - This case will be 'delayed <br />for several weeks. The City requested for our insurance carrier. The <br />court system just simply didn't allow enough time for insurance carrier <br />to prepare for it. <br /> <br /> c) Shattered Glass on Citl~ Hall Front Door - It will be re- <br />paired either this week or next week. <br /> <br />5. Airport: In the Council Letter and Communication (enclosure C-1 <br />this agenda) you have a copy of the request submitted to the State of <br />Minnesota Aeronautics Division. In checking with the Minnesota Aeron- <br />autics Division on April 17, 1980, they are working on it. Also the <br />Co~nissioner is very interested in .this project which is good news. <br /> <br /> <br />
