a) Landfill Meeti~ <br />report on this subj <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka revi, <br />with the Council. <br /> <br />his April 22, 1980 <br /> <br />Councilman Cox said some items of the report require immediate action. <br />Specifically he referred to Item #4, and also that the required quarterly <br />reports have not been received. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec said Comprehensive Health is supposed Go be handling these <br />matters. Councilman Cox said there are flagrant violations existing <br />and these matters cannot slide by. <br /> <br />City Administrator Schnelle said he would call Comprehensive Health and <br />that the reports will be sent. <br /> <br /> Councilman Cox asked also if we could request a rate increase. City <br /> Attorney Goodrich said this could be done if the other side is breaking <br /> the contract. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Sortebe~g directing <br />staff to renegotiate the contract regarding a rate increase, plus get <br />the monitoring done properly and direct the City Attorney to advise the <br />landfill operators that they are not abiding by the contract. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
