After the woman had received medical care she commented to emergency personnel how <br />extremely grateful she was for Mike's assistance. Mike's actions prevented a serious situation <br />from potentially becoming worse. Thanks Mike for continuing to serve the Ramsey community, <br />on and off duty! <br />Ramsey Residents to Tour the Universe. 74 people have already signed up for next week's <br />Starwatch event at Elmcrest Park, on Thursday, March 23, 7:45 - 9:45 pm! The astronomy and <br />stargazing class will begin near twilight with meteorologist Mike Lynch leading a half hour <br />orientation of the night sky with maps and constellation diagrams provided. Participants will then <br />go outside and take in the beautiful cosmic show going on over head. Using some of the largest <br />telescopes in Minnesota, stargazers will travel light years into the past, taking a constellation tour <br />and sharing in some of the lore of Big Bear, Little Bear, Cassiopeia, and other celestial bodies. All <br />participants will receive a booklet of user-friendly star maps and constellation charts, websites, a <br />telescope buying guide and more.
