Councilmember Kurak introduced the following resolution and moved for its a-doption: RESOLUTION #04-06-154 RESOLUTION APPROVING 4th PARTIAL PAYMENT TO W.B. MILLER, Inc. for IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #03-27 (141sT AVE. NW, AZURITE ST. NW AND BASALT AVE. NW) WHEREAS, on August 26th, 2003, City Council adopted Resolution #03-08-205 approving the plans and specifications for the above referenced work; and WHEREAS, Principal City Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and recommended 1st partial payment to W.B. Miller, Inc. in the amount of$155,872.11. WHEREAS, Principal City Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and recommended 2"a partial payment to W.B. Miller, Inc. in the amount of $55,191.68. WHEREAS, Principal City Engineer Brian recommended 3rd partial payment to W.B. Miller, Inc. WHEREAS, Principal City Engineer Brian recommended 4th partial payment to W.B. Miller, Inc. Olson inspected the completed work and in the amount of $56,444.35. Olson inspected the completed work and in the amount of $54,558.69. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes 4th partial payment to W.B. Miller, Inc. for Improvement Project #03-27, 141st Ave., NW, Az ~urite St. NW and Basalt Ave. NW project in the amount of $54,558.69 on June 22, 2004. 2) 3) 4) That the City Council authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the month of June 2004, That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution.
