Hinnesota Statutes 1978, seCtion 360.032, <br />is amended by adding a subdivision to read: <br /> <br /> .;; Subdo 5. [REFERENDUM.! No municipality may acquire <br />land for a new or enlarged airport or construct'a new <br /> <br />airport on previously acquired'Sand without first <br /> <br />13 conducting a referendum on the proposed action. Persons <br /> <br />'14 eligible to vote on the question shall include a[~ persons <br /> <br />15 living ~ithin two mi[es of the boundaries of the proposed' <br /> <br />airport ~ho woutd be eligible to vote in a generat <br /> <br />17 <br /> <br />election.
