City of Ramsey <br /> <br />15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Anoka, Minnesola 55303 · (612) 427-1410 <br /> <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT <br /> <br />May 11, 1980 <br /> <br />Lloyd: <br /> <br />As you will notice as you read this attached ICR this is not a problem within <br />our direct jurisdiction but the effect of the dumping does carry to our citizenry. <br />Mr. Norell said he has complained to the Minnesota PCA and they have contacted <br />the land owner and he had told them the sewage would be plowed under this past <br />Tuesday, the 6th of May however he has not done so. The Odor is enough to cause <br />a person to go live in a motel and eat out, bringing civil suit later against the <br />land owner for incurred expenses. I can attest that it is foul: <br /> <br />I told Mr. Norell that POA would be contacted by the city of Ramsey right away <br />on Monday to see what is going to be done. I am working nights however, on Mon- <br />day so I am kind of passing this your way. Since the dumping is actually taking <br />place in Sherburne we will, I suppose~ only be acting as a "friend of the court" <br />so to speak in calling PCA but maybe they will be a little more insistent with <br /> <br />Mr. Novotny if they hear from you on this matter. <br /> <br /> <br />
