' ~ <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Invitation to//Comment on ?roposed North Suburban Area <br /> Cable Service~ Territory on Hay 9, 1980 <br /> <br />On March 14, 1980, the City of Roseville, a Minnesota municipality, act-. <br />ing on behalf of adjacent communities, proposed a cable service territory <br />(CST) consisting of the corporate limits of ten suburban municipalities <br />in the northern section of the Twin Cities metropolitan area: Arden Hills, <br />Falcon Hetghts, Lauderdale, Little Canada, Mounds View, New Brighton, <br />North Oaks, Roseville, Saint Anthony and Shoreview. <br /> <br />The municipalities have already responded to our offer Of counsel and <br />advice during this period of the Board's consideration of the CST proposal. <br /> <br />At its meeting on Friday, May 9, 1980 at 9:00 a.m., the Cable Board has <br />set aside a period for comments from parties interested in. the proposed <br />CST--not only from municipalities included in the 6riginai proposal and <br />those, who may wish to be, but also from other interested municipalities, <br />organizations, agencies, school districts, units of government~and <br />individuals. <br /> <br />Written comments are welcome at any time up to the June 13, 1980 meeting <br />when the Board, by statute, could make its decision to approve, reject or <br />delay consideration of the Proposed CST. But the BOard 'is ~articularly <br />interested in receiving oral and/or written comment at the May 9, 1980 <br />meeting.
