Voting yes-Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Reimann, Mickelson <br />and Cox. Voting no-None. Motion carried. Please refer to resolution file for <br />Resolution 80- <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich said in regards to the landfill that he checked with the <br />Attorney General's office and they said the city cannot have a surcharge on <br />waste coming in. He asked if he should tell Mr. Don Otter of Waste Management <br />that the city wants $.15/cubic yard. <br /> <br />City Administrator Schnelle said that'Mr. Otter wants all the city's demands written <br />down. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec directed City Administrator Schnelle to write up all the different <br />things the Council discussed and to bring a report to the next council meeting. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec said the city can still ask for the rate increase at this time. <br /> <br />Discussion followed on the rate increase. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Reimann to direct the City <br />Attorney to attempt to get $.25/cubicyard increase from Waste Management. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes-Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Reimann, Mickelson <br />and Cox. Voting no-None. <br /> <br />6) Street Improvements <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Sorteberg to adopt Resolution 80-33, declaring adequacy <br />of petition and ordering preparation of report for 159th Ebony, Dolomite & 158th Lane. <br />Motion seconded by Councilman Reimann. Voting yes-Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, <br />Reimann, Mickelson and Cox. Voting no-None. Motion carried. Please refer to' <br />resolution file for Resolution 80-33 <br /> <br />Councilman Sorteberg said if the improvements increase the'value of the property, <br />they can be assessed whether they use-the road or not. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich said you can 'only assess where you improve. That is state <br />law. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox to adopt Resolution 80-34, declaring adequacy of petition <br />and ordering preparation of report for Whispering Pines, Plat 2. Motion <br />seconded by Councilman Reimann. Voting yes-Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, <br />Reimann, Mickelson and Cox. Voting no-None. Motion carried. Please refer to <br />resolution file for Resolution 80-34. <br /> <br />In regards to Hall-Anderson Acres, Mayor Gamec noted that his residence was in <br />this area and he signed the petition. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Sorteberg to adopt Resolution 80-35, declaring adequacy of <br />petition and ordering preparation of report. Motion seconded by Councilman Reimann. <br />Voting yes-Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Reimann, Mickelson and Cox. <br />Voting no-None. Motion carried.
