Accordingly, a certified copy of this resolution and enclosure (1) will be attached to the abstract and forwarded'~to the County Assessors office. 3) The Board of Review hereby directs that copies of this resolution with the enclosure showing Board of Review action taken on the above'types of land/building/bare land be forwarded to the following governing bodies and offices: a) .Anoka County Board, Anoka County b) Governor, State of Minnesota c) Commissioner of Revenue, State of M~nnesota d) Commissioner of Economic Development, State of Minnesota The purpose of this resolution is to show how archaic our present state laws are in establishing market valuation on properties in the State of Minnesota. 4) That the Governor of the State of Minnesota and the State Legislators review this archaic State Statute and up date it so as to reflect economic changes more readily. As the present law does not allow for peaks, valleys or plateaus in the economy as it really only reacts to the peaks (.inflation) which can ruin the-small business man. It is for this reason we request legislation in this area. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Reimann and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Mickelson, Reimann and Cox. and the following voted against the same: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey Board of Review.this the 29th day of May, 1980.
