1940375 <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt introduced the following resolution ~d mo¥¢d for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #04-05-106 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A VARIANCE TO CONSTRUCT AN <br />ACCESSORY STRUCTURE NEARER THE FRONT PROPERTY LINE THAN THE <br />PRINCIPAL STRUCTURE AND DECLARING TERMS OF SAME <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Stephen and Nila Dehen (Permittee) have properly applied for a variance <br />from Section 9.11.02 of the Ramsey City Code to construct an accessory structure nearer the <br />from property line than the principal structure on the property generally known as 14720 Bowers <br />Drive N.W. and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />Lot 8, Bower's Mississippi Acres, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />(Subject Property). <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, the Board of Adjustment conducted a public hearing on May 6, 2004, <br />pursuant to Section 9.03.05 of the Ramsey City Code. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1. That based on Findings of Fact #0673, a variance to construct an accessory structure nearer <br /> the front property line than the principal structure on the Subject Property is hereby granted. <br /> <br />2. That the accessory structure constructed on the Subject Property shall not be located any <br /> closer than 14 feet from the front property line. <br /> <br />3. That no other structures or additions shall be constructed in the reduced front yard setback <br /> unless the property owner applies for and is granted a variance for same. <br /> <br />4. That the exterior finish of the proposed building will need to match that of the principal <br /> structure, including soffit, fascia, and eave overhang. <br /> <br />5. That the Permittee shall be responsible for all costs incurred in administering and enforcing <br /> this variance. <br /> <br />6. That the Permittee shall obtain all necessary permits prior to commencing any construction of <br /> the accessory structure. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />That the accessory structure shall be used for storage of personal property and that no <br />commercial activity of any type shall be permitted in said structure unless such use is <br />permitted in accordance with City Code. <br /> <br /> <br />
