Systematic Refrigeration:

The City of Ramsey completed negotiations for an 80,000 square foot facility to be located in
the northerly most section of Ramsey Business Park 95 back in December of 1999. It is
anticipated that Systematic Refrigeration will start construction in the Spring of 2000 and will
create 50 new jobs in addition to the 40 people currently employed. Systematic Refrigeration
has been awarded a grant from the Minnesota Investment Fund Program to utilize money
from the Small Business Development Program. This project will also include a future
expansion onto the neighboring Spohn property, in which the City Administrator is in the
process of negotiations to acquire the Spohn property.

ACE Solid Waste:

ACE is in currently in the process of negotiations to relocate at the intersection of McKinley
St. and Azurite St. The City of Ramsey believes the property owner of this blighted area is
ready to sell. ACE is proposing to build an office/garage building approximately 16,400
square feet and a transfer station approximately 16,900 square feet in size. The City will be
providing TIF funding, payments will be received when TIF payments are realized. The
Community Development office anticipates receiving a proposed site plan soon.

North Suburban Home Improvement Show:

The second annual North Suburban Home Improvement Show is underway. The date has
been set for Febmary 19, 2000 from 8:00am - 3:00pm at the Anoka Armory. The event will
include seminars about deck building, landscaping, and different flooring projects. The fair
will entail 49 booths for various vendors, 1 large city table where 6 cities will each have a
representative present for any resident questions, and a food booth where pop and hotdogs will
be sold. In order to advertise to the many different Ramsey residents, flyers have been
distributed to various local businesses throughout the city.

Ramsey Business Network Meeting:

A meeting for Ramsey businesses has been scheduled for March 7, 2000 from 8:00am -
10:00am at Connexus Energy in their conference room. An agenda for this meeting is in the
process of being formed. Any further updates on the agenda for this meeting will be given
verbally.

EDA Terms:

Two EDA members terms have expired as of December 1999.
