Ramsey Fire Department Annual Report <br /> 2016 Goals and Objectives <br /> ➢ Development and implementation of new Mission Statement and Core Values. Dr. Rich Gassaway <br /> was brought in to facilitate the process which included input from all staff. <br /> ➢ Review organizational structure of fire department. A new organizational chart was created along with <br /> revised job descriptions and a new command staff implemented. <br /> ➢ Beautification. Have attractive,welcoming streetscapes at fire station entrances along with <br /> administrative area upgrades to better serve public. The administrative area at Station 1 was redesigned, <br /> walls painted and new sod,plantings and mulch installed in the front of the building. <br /> ➢ Increase the level of community involvement though fire prevention activities focused on safer <br /> living/working environments. Life safety presentations increased from 27 in 2015 to 42 in 2016. A strong <br /> focus was put towards older adults. <br /> ➢ Increase level of response to high priority medicals, thus providing improved patient care.A list of <br /> high priority medical calls was developed and put into place through Anoka County dispatch. <br /> ➢ Roll out implementation plan for fire records management system (FDM). We fully transitioned from <br /> Firehouse to FDM. <br /> ➢ Deliver leadership training relevant to company officer development.
