Chairperson Nixt introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #04-08-203 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT #0691 RELATING TO A REQUEST <br />FOR A VARIANCE TO ALLOW FOR MULTIPLE BUILDINGS ON ONE LOT IN THE <br />TOWN CENTER 2 COMMERCIAL ZONING DISTR/CT. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, RAMDANCE, LLC, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant," has properly <br />applied for a variance from Section 9.11.01(1), regarding allowing more than one main building <br />on a lot, on the property legally described as follows: <br /> <br />Outlot I, Ramsey Town Center Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota ("Subject <br />Property) <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That the Board of Adjustment conducted a public hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.07 of the <br />Ramsey City Code on August 5, 2004, and that said public hearing was properly advertised, <br />and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated as a part of these findings <br />by reference. <br /> <br />2. That the Subject Property is zoned TC-2 Town Center Commercial and is approximately 9 <br /> acres in size. <br /> <br />3. That properties to the east, west, and north are zoned TC-2 Town Center Commercial. <br /> <br />4. That the Subject Property is bounded on the south by the Burlington Northern Santa Fe <br /> Railroad. <br /> <br />5. That the Subject Property is currently being subdivided into two parcels as part of the <br /> Ramsey Town Center 3ra Addition. <br /> <br />6. That Lot 1 will be 8.99 acres in size and Lot 2 will be 0.41 will be acres in size. <br /> <br />7. That Lot 1 will contain a 54,000 square foot grocery store, an 18,000 square foot retail <br /> building, an 11,000 square foot retail building, and an 8,000 square foot retail building. <br /> <br />8. That Lot 1 will also contain a 1,777 square foot accessory building that will contain a car <br /> wash. <br /> <br />9. That section 9.11.01(1), does not allow for more than one main building on a lot. <br /> <br /> <br />
