TO: City Administrator

FROM: Building Official

RE: Monthly Report

DATE: July 16, 1980

Several letters, of which you have copies~ were sent to various indi-
viduals in regards to ordinance violations where complaints were re-
ceived. Mr. Crowley, of Lee's Landscaping, was again notified that he
has not complied with all the provisions of his development contract.
The primary items he has failed to complete include the bituminous park-
ing lot and the field stone on the exterior of the building.

Mr. Dave Hexom, who operates the wood lot on Highway #10 near the weigh
station~ was given notice to remove a box car he had moved in on his
property. He has asked that he be scheduled on the Council agenda so
he may discuss this directive with the City Cotuncil.

Building continued to be depressed with only six housing starts, one
of which was of a size that complied with the newly amended house size
ordinance. This was a 912 square foot split entry, however, it also has
a double attached garage.

The new City car is functioning quite well and is being used by most
administrative personnel. To date it has been driven slightly over
1,000 miles and has averaged 15.96 miles per gallon.

So far there have been only two occasions where due to someone else
using the car I had to use my own vehicle.

Permits issued, mileage and inspections are as follows:

Perm/ts Issued

Permit Fee Valua{ion

Surcharge

A.
