As you know, the <br />population of Anoka County is a significant factor in determining <br />the dollar amount of Federal and State aids. <br /> <br />The 1980 preliminary Federal Census population figure for <br />Anoka County is 191,970. The 1980 Metropolitan Council <br />estimated population figure for Anoka County is 202,310. <br /> <br />The 1980 preliminary Federal Census data is not final data, <br />but municipalities only have 10 days to review and challenge <br />this data. Municipalities must challenge this data by <br />housing units and group quarters within enumeration districts. <br />Enumeration districts were geographically identified on maps <br />previously provided to you by the Federal Census Office. <br /> <br />Municipalities can best identify potential housing Units and <br />group quarters missed by the Federal Census Office. I <br />recently provided you with computer printouts of taxable <br />property by addresses within cities.
