Mayor Gamec said the outlook for sewer and water for Riverwood Hills is
never because it is in the rural area of Ramsey. He said the Contractor
puts out a performance' bond which will take care of all costs for repair
for a period of one year. As far as normal heavy tmaffic such as gambage
trucks, the proposed type roads will hold up.

Mr. Jim ~ayft, 5160 - 177th Avenue'N.W.

Mr. Hayft said if it is blacktopped there, his driveway will be completed
washed out. He said the ground should be graded there so that it flows
away from his dmiveway. He said he has one of the two lots that is not
on the exhibit.

City Engineer Raatikka said they will be putting in a turnaround there at
177th Avenue N.W. He asked Mr. Hayft if he wanted a culvert across his
driveway.

Mr. Hayft said the drainage all comes down to his driveway now, but if the
city blacktops it, it will wash out his driveway.

City Engineer Raatikka said they could put in a burm and a spillway there.

Mayor Gamec directed City Engineer Raatikka to review the situation there
with Street Superintendent Merle Mevisson.

Mr. Donald Brown~ 17620 Argon'St. N.W.

Mr. Brown asked if the 10% figure ia concrete.

Mayor Gamec said it would probably be closer to 8% or 8~% and most of the
previous streets are coming in lower.

Mr. Richard'Norton, 17630 Cobalt.'St.'N.W.

Mr. Norton said he has two lots and neither one are buildable.

Building Official Berg said in order to issue a permit he had Mr. Norton
combine his two lots.

Mayor Gamec said at the time of the Assessment Hearing, this will be considered.

Councilman Cox said the people in the area should know that one lot could
be added to the cost of the project.

City Engineer Raatikka said the e'stimated costs are probably a little high.

Mr. Hayft asked who is bidding on this project.

Mayor Gamec said the bid opening is set for August 4, 1980 and 90% of the
projects have been done by N & S. He told Mm. Hayft he could contact City
Hall after the bid opening to find out this information.

A vote was taken of the residents present. 15 residents voted. 15 voted
for and none voted against the project.

PUBLIC HEARING
July 8, 1980
Page 2
