I very much appreciate your <br />keeping me posted on these developments in Ramsey, including d~scussions on <br />airport development in the western part of the city. I have reviewed your <br />letter of August 7 and am glad to learn that the city council will take the <br />constructive route of not asking for a visitation with Chairman Weaver. I find <br />Mr. Weaver to be, as I'm sure you do, cooperative, intelligent and sensitive <br />in these matters as they relate to local government. I am confident that most, <br />if not all, of Ramsey's objections can be dealt with in a visitation with <br />Mr. Weaver. <br /> <br />For my part, I will be returning from a meeting in Detroit Lakes with the <br />county auditors the day you have scheduled your'meeting with Mr. Weaver. I <br />will plan my arrival back into town, however, to coincide with the meeting <br />and, while I may be somewhat late, I will plan on being present'at some point <br />during the meeting on the 26th. · <br /> <br />Again, thank you for keeping me informed; I look forward to cooperating with <br />the City Council in resolving this dispute. <br /> <br />Kindest personal regards, <br /> <br />John T.
