PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council was held on July 22, 1980, <br />at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, <br />Mdnnesota 55303. <br /> <br />Men, ers Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thorns Garnet <br />Councilman Allen Sorteberg <br />Councilman Gary Reimann <br />Councilman David liickelson <br />Councilman Arnold Cox <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Lloyd Schnelle <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />City Engineer Peter Raatik~a <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 8:08 by Mayor Gamec. <br /> <br />CITIZENS INPUT <br /> <br />Mr. Bud Augst of Traprock Commons was present. He asked regarding natural <br />gas to be brought up to Traprock Commons if the City would help pay the cost, <br />since the gas line Will go past the park. The cost will be $7160 and if the <br />park property is assessed there will be 15 lots sharing in the cost. <br /> <br />Council's'consensus was that City should not pay a share, which is consistent <br />with the City's policy regarding blacktop streets and park areas. <br /> <br />~. Augst also stated that he understood that a fence was going to be put up <br />between his lot and the park but this hasn't been done. <br /> <br />Mayor Ga~ec said th~ Park Board is looking into this subject. <br /> <br />Councilman Cox said the City should help the Ramsey Elementary School get <br />natural gas and perhaps this.would assist'the City in getting the same for <br />City Hall. <br /> <br />AGENDA APPROVAL <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Sorteberg to approve the <br />agenda as presented. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Mickelson, <br />Reimann and Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Reimarm to approve the <br />minutes of June 16, 1980 as presented. <br /> <br />C/July 22, 1980 <br /> Page 1 <br /> <br /> <br />
