G010/GR-80-472 <br /> <br /> Notice of <br /> Application for <br /> Rate Increase <br /> <br /> On June 20, 1980, North Central Public Service Co., Division <br />of Donovan Companies, Inc., filed with the Minnesota Public Utilities <br />Commission a general rate.increase, pursuant to Minnesota Statute <br />216B.16. North Central intends to place the new rates into effect <br />on October 1, 1980. The Minnesota Public Utilities Commission <br />must make a decision on our requested rate increase by June 20, <br />1981. If the full increase is not approved, the difference <br />between the requested increase and the approved increase, plus <br />interest, will be refunded to customers in a manner to be <br />determined by the Commission. <br /> <br /> North Central's proposed rates will generate approximately <br />$1.7 million in additional revenues, or an approximate 6.6% <br />increase in annual gross revenues on its Northern Natural System. <br />Examples of the effect of the proposed increase on typical bills <br />are shown below.
