13) Reappraisal of Market Valuation of Industrial and Commercial Building <br />'and Vacant Land (as Outlined in Board of Review Resolution #80-1) <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec said the material used to determine valuations is in questions, <br />but the County is finding out City Assessor Wirz's figures and valuations were <br />just right. They had thought maybe Lester was off. <br /> <br />14) Raudio Property <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich said all this is supposed to occur by 9/22/80, the <br />date of the closing. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Sorteberg to enter into <br />Purchase Agreement conveying to Anoka County from the City the First <br />Cuaranty Right-Of-Way property lying easterly of Highway #47 and to authorize <br />the Mayor and City Administrator to execute same. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes-Mayor Gamec, Councilmen So~teberg, Mickelson <br />and Cox. Voting no-None. <br /> <br />15) City Attorney <br /> <br />Bison Street - Mr. Hinton <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich said he agrees that when the city improves that land, <br />they will move it over to the easement. He said it would cost the city about <br />$5,000 now to put it over to the correct easement. He recommended that the <br />city not enter into the stipulation as ~stablished by Mr. Hinton and his <br />attorney because the city would not waist to give up its statutory usury rights. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Sorteberg and seconded by Councilman Cox not to enter <br />into the stipulation as established by Mr. Hinton'~and his attorney and to <br />negotiate to preserve the city's statutory usury rights that presently exist. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes-Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Mickelson <br />and Cox. Voting no-None. <br /> <br />Councilman Cox commented that he thought that it should be brought to their <br />attention that the Street Superintendent went out there and put in Class V <br />and there has not been any responsibility put on the property owners to <br />upgrade that property. <br /> <br />COUNCIL NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />Proposed Community School Budget for 1981 <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec said they are going to go into three more park sites next year <br />because they filled the present park sites to the limit this year. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec said the city is coming into a critical year in regard to the City <br />Budget, so the council is going to have to take a more critical look at the <br />City Budget when it is reviewed. <br /> <br />C/August 26, 1980 <br /> Page ll <br /> <br /> <br />
