CT,F. ATUS VICKER REGARDING HIS PROPOSED VICKERS RIVERGLA_DE <br /> <br />PARK PLAT: <br /> <br />Enclosure (D3-a) contains a letter from Mr. Koshak, P.Z. of <br />Hakanson, Anderson & Associates Engineers who represent Mr. <br />Vickers. Exhibit #1 contains a copy of their proposed plat. <br /> <br />Problem: Council is going to have to explain to Mr. Vickers <br />that the City is nos going to get involved in anyplatting in <br />~the Critical Area until we ge~,~our Critical Area plan accepted. <br />I don't see how we dare to even get involved if we use the <br />Alpaca Plat as an example. <br /> <br />Council Action: Your action would be to advise the individual <br />that the City cannot get involved until we get the Critical <br />River's plan resolved with the Metro Council. <br /> <br />CASE #2: <br /> <br />JOINT COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT: <br /> <br />Enclosure (D3-b) contains the Joint Cooperative Agreement <br />that all the cities and townships will have to adopt prior <br />to Anoka County receiving a proposed $2,000,000 HUD Block <br />Grant because of their new distinction of being designated <br />as au Urban County. This came about when the Anoka County <br />reached or surpasses the 200,000 population mark. <br /> <br />The County had a meeting in regards to their possibilities of <br />receiving this grant. ~ayor Gamec and Councilman Sorteberg <br />were present at this meeting this past Tuesday, September 4, <br />1980. Consequently, I think they will want to verbally dis- <br /> <br /> <br />
