The City has set up a separate activity within the City's accounting system to keep a handle on these costs. ¸b ) Tri-City Fire Commission - This Commission has not met all summer due to vacations, etc. However, the"next scheduled 'meeting is in October, 1980. CASE #10: REAPPRAISED PROPERTY VALUATION IN REGARDS TO PJ~SEY'S BOARD OF REVIEW ACTION (RESOLUTION 80-1): Enclosure (D3-f) contains the revaluation of buildings only that was accomplished by the County and City Assessor. M~ personal thoughts on the matter is that the Ramsey Board of Review has been had by the County on this issue. Enclosure (D3-g) contains the City's costs in the Assessor's activity in regards to this issue. It does not include the County's cost up to date or in the future on this issue. It 'appears to me the County has usurped the City's Board of Reviews authority through a fast maneuver. Council Action: Inasmuch as the Cottuty has usurped the Ramsey Board of Review authority, it might be proper to have the County Assessor set up dates here at the Ramsey Municipal Center to review these increases with the-citizens. It would, probably be proper to have their elected County officials also present to explain why they had these property increases after the Ramsey Board of Review reduced them. CASE #11: BUDGET CO~ITTEE: The Council Budget Committee wants to discuss certain aspects of the City Budget with the City Council and get some direction.
