Motion carried. Voting yes-Mayor Gamec, Councilmen $orteberg, REimann, <br />Mickelson and Cox. Voting no-None. <br /> <br />Please refer, to resolution file for Resolution ~80-6~. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Mickelson and seconded by Councilman Reimann to <br />adopt Resolution #80-65 to split Lot B with 200' of frontage which his <br />house is on and a separate lot of 100' to be restricted as non-buildable <br />until sewer comes in. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes-Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Mickelson and Cox. Voting no-None. Please refer to resolution file for <br />Resolution #80-65. <br /> <br />7) Upgrading of Tungsten Street <br /> <br />City Administrator Schnelle said sometime the council is going to have to <br />do somethings and next spring it will even be worse. He recommended <br />calling a neighborhood hearing and finding out what they want to do. <br /> <br />Councilman Reimann. suggested getting a feasibility study and going ahead <br />with calling a hearing. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec said the city is going to have to put sewer in there. He <br />questioned if there would be some way the city could put a street in <br />there so when sewer comes in, it doesn't have to be dug up, as it is <br />questionable where the main line will run. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Mickelson and seconded by Councilman Reimann to <br />direct City Engineer Raatikka to prepare a preliminary report for the <br />improvement of Tungsten Street, Rivlyn Avenue and Front Street. <br /> <br />Motion carried.' Voting yes-Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Mickelson and Cox. Voting no-None. <br /> <br />8) Approving Joint Powers Agreement Between City of Ramsey and City of <br /> <br />Anoka Regarding to Having Our Accounting on Their Computer <br /> <br />City Administrator Schnelle said the cost is about 80¢ per check and <br />that includes writing the checks, PERA Reports, FICA Reports and <br />end of year tax check. It has nothing to do with paying city bills. <br />It will take some workload off Jean and give her time to do the things <br />that should be done now. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec said the ciiy is buying a computer instead of hiring another <br />person. <br /> <br />City Administrator said this will be helpful for budget purposes and <br />investment records. The city has 26 pay periods per year, so the cos-i <br />will run approy~imately $400 annually. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Reimann to approve <br />City of P~msey entering a joint powers agmeement with the City of Anoka <br />regarding having Ramsey's acconnting on their computer. <br /> <br />C/July 8, 1980 <br /> Page 8 <br /> <br /> <br />
