METROPOLITAN COUNCIL <br />300 Metro Square Building, Saint Paul, Minnesota 55101 <br /> <br />October 8, 1980 <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />TO: Tim Yantos <br /> <br />FROM: Barbara Senness <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Anoka County CDBG Needs Assessment <br /> Technical Assistance Available from Metropolitan Council <br /> <br />The Council's Local Planning Assistance program (LPA) can provide <br />Anoka County with three basic types of assistance in preparing its <br />CDBG needs assessment. 'They are: <br /> <br />1) Participation on the Technical Advisory Committee. <br /> <br />2) Assistance to individual ~communities. <br /> <br />3) Supplying pertinent data. <br /> <br />In addition to actively participating on the advisory committee, LPA <br />will be available to assist communities lacking staff resources in <br />assembling the necessary information to input in ~he county assess- <br />ment. <br /> <br />LPA, with the assistance.of the_~ousing staffr, will ~also supply-the <br />county with a variety of data sources, primarily in ~he area of <br />housing.
