Minimum Setback: No part of a sign shall be within five (5) <br />feet of any property line. <br /> <br />17{).{J551) AGf(~\JOB]I,F~ SI:!RVIfJi <br /> <br />Automobile service area means gas stations, drive-in restaurants, drive-in <br />theaters, etc., or any other type of business where an automobile is used <br />as the recipJent of the service or product, or where an automobile is <br />necessary to obtain or to make use of the service or product. <br /> <br /> 1. Wall Signs and Roof Signs: The total area of all wall <br />signs affixed to a bui]ding wall and all roof signs parallel to a speci- <br />fied wn]l shall not exceed fifteen percent (]5%) of the total area of <br />that wall. However, the maximum size of any roof sign is eighty (80) <br />square feet. The use of a roof sign will substitute for a free standing <br />business sign along the frontage it faces. <br /> <br />2. Free Standing Signs: <br /> <br />a. One (1) free standing sign allowed per principal <br /> building on each street frontage. The total area of <br /> a free stnnding sign for a building having one (1) <br /> street frontage shall not exceed eighty (80) square <br /> feet. Where a building has two (2) or more street <br /> frontages, only one (1) free standing sign of the <br /> above size shall be permitted. Each permitted free <br /> standing sign in excess of one (1) shall have a sign <br /> .area not to exceed-:fifty (50) square feet. The.max- <br /> imum height of free standing:signs shall be thirty- <br /> five (35) feet. <br />b. Temporary product sale, stamp and game .signs may <br /> occupy the remainder of that area not utillzed for <br /> the permanent free standing brand sign, provided <br /> the total area of all permanent and temporary signs <br /> does not exceed eighty (80) square feet. The use <br /> of a roof sign will substitute for a free standing <br /> business sign along the frontage it faces. <br /> <br /> 3. Pomp Signs: Lettering or symbols which are an integral <br />part of the design of a gasotine pump shall be permitted. <br /> <br />4.
