In ~972, the City of Ramsey approved <br />subdivision of m~ area adjoining the west side of the landfill. By 1975, development of the area~adjoining <br /> <br />tl~e landfill as originally approved by the city was essentially complete. A <br /> <br />vege. t,utive screen consisting of several rows of Norway pines shielded the <br />£~ve !:poperties f~mm the landfill. <br /> Recognizing gas migration to be a possible problem in an area v,d_th <br />adjoJp.
