Council Update Successful Ramsey EDA Business Expo. Thanks to everyone who visited us at the 9th Annual Ramsey EDA Business Expo on Saturday, April 1 at the Fountains of Ramsey. We enjoyed meeting many local business representatives and Ramsey residents! An estimated 300 guests stopped by for an afternoon of fun giveaways, samples, and information from 50 local businesses and organizations. Kids enjoyed face painting by Northern Starz Children's Theatre and balloon art by A Touch of Magic! Planning Update. Attached to the Weekly Update is the Planning Commission Update —April 4, 2017. PACT Charter 3rd Grade Students Will Tour Ramsey City Hall. On Thursday, April 13, fifty-two 3rd grade students from PACT Charter School will visit the Ramsey City Hall to learn about their local government and tour the facility. The field trip will include a presentation from city staff and a chance to get an up -close look at the Ramsey Police Department, a Ramsey fire truck and Public Works vehicle, as well as the Council Chambers. Staff welcomes all Councilmembers who are interested in participating in the tour from 12:30 -2:00 pm. Save the Date • Yoga Flow - Wednesdays, March through April, from 12:05 — 12:50 pm at Ramsey City Hall- Mississippi River Room, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW. Programming is open to kids Pre-K through high school, all experience levels welcome. Registration deadline is April 19.
