Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #17-04-086 RESOLUTION APPROVING A BEEKEEPING LICENSE ON A RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY GENERALLY KNOWN AS 5805 148th LANE NW. WHEREAS, Michael St. Clair and Sarah Mattison, hereinafter referred to as the "Licensee"have properly applied to the City of Ramsey(the "City") for a Beekeeping License on the property generally known as 5805 148th Lane NW and legally described as follows: That part of the north 259.3 feet of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 26, Township 32, Range 25,which lies easterly of the following described line — commencing at the northeast corner of said Section 26 thence westerly along the northerly line of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 26 a distance of 431.45 feet more or less to the centerline of County State Aid Hwy No. 5 thence southeasterly along said centerline a distance of 297.22 feet more or less to a point which is 259.3 feet southerly of said northerly line of Northeast Quarter (as measured at right angles to)thence westerly on a line 259.3 feet southerly of and parellel to said northerly line of Northeast Quarter a distance of 1538.82 feet to the actual point of beginning of line to be described thence northerly at right angles a distance of 259.3 feet to the northerly line of said Northeast Quarter and there terminating (Subject to an easement for road purpose over the southerly 33 feet thereof)together with an easement over the south 66 feet of the north 292.3 feet of the point of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 26, Township 32, Range 25 lying westerly of County State Aid Hwy No 5, as now laid out and constructed, Anoka County, Minnesota ("Subject Property") WHEREAS,the request appears to meet or exceed all conditions outlined in the Ramsey City Code Section 10-1(0 pertaining to beekeeping; and WHEREAS, the City Council met on April 11, 2017 to review the request for a Beekeeping License. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY,ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That a Beekeeping License is hereby granted to Licensee to maintain honeybees on the Subject Property. 2) That the Licensee shall comply with all provisions of Ramsey City Code Section 10-1(f). The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained:
