APPENDIX E <br /> City of Ramsey Supporting Resolution (page 1 of 2) <br /> CITY COUNCIL RESOLUTION#17-04-080 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF RA's SEY TO PURCHASE REAL <br /> PROPERIY AND SUBMIT A RALF PROGRAM APPLICATION TO THE, <br /> METROPOLITAN C'OUNC'IL <br /> II.-HEREAS, the City of Ramsey entered into a formal purchase agreement on January <br /> 31. 2017. with Series Sunfish of Atbans Holdings, LLC-, an Illinois Limited Liability Company <br /> for the acquisition of 6401 Highway 10, the parcel legally described below ("the Subject <br /> Proper `): <br /> LOT 1, BLOCK 1,SUNFISH COMIviONS; <br /> COUNTY OF AN OKA, STATE OF NUNIVESOTA <br /> WHEREAS. the Subject Property is 1.65 acres in size, the County PII] is 34-32-25-14- <br /> 0027, and is located on the corner of U.S_ Iiighway 10 and Anoka County Road 57;and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Subject Property is needed for full-acquisitian by NLjJM to Provide <br /> right-of-wray(ROW)related to future planned improvements to U-S-Highway,- 10; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the future planned improvements for U-S- Highway 10 are detailed in the <br /> Highi&my 10 Access Planning Study, which was officially adopted by Iv_ ==_DOT,the.Metropolitan <br /> Council, Anoka County, City of Ramsey, and City sof Anoka in 2014;and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Subject Property was Officially Mapped for future improvements to <br /> U_S-Highway 10 in 2004 and includes a roughly 9,500 square foot vacant building; and, <br /> NVHEREAS, the Citi- of Rartisey intends to purchase the Subject Property, demolish <br /> existing improvements- and retain the Subject Property for future planned improvements to U.S- <br /> Highway- 10; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the proposed funding source for the purchase and cleanup of the Subject <br /> Properof, is the State of Minnesota Right-of-Way- Acquisition Loan Fund ( A-LF), which is <br /> administered by the Metropolitan Council. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF R AMSEY, ANOKA <br /> COUNTY, STATE OF-MINNESOTA,,as follows: <br /> 1) The City of Ramsey hereby approves of the purchase agreement dated January 31, <br /> 2017 for the acquisition of the Subject Property from Athans Holdings LLC in the <br /> amtount of S645,000(Purchase Agreement)- <br /> Page 14 of 19 <br />
