Information <br /> obtained from the Anoka County Property Information web page is attached in Appendix C. <br /> The Site is occupied by a slab-on-grade, 8,583 square foot,vacant gasoline station/convenience store <br /> with an attached carwash. <br /> B.2. Physical Setting <br /> B.2.a. Topography <br /> According to the United States Geological Survey (U.S.G.S) 7.5-minute topographic map series, <br /> Anoka, Minnesota quadrangle, the Site is located at an elevation of approximately 865 feet above mean <br /> sea level.The topography of the Site is relatively level with a slight downward slope to the south. <br /> B.2.b. Geology <br /> The unconsolidated sediment in the Site vicinity are Quaternary Wisconsin Episode Langdon Terrace <br /> deposits, which consist of sand and gravelly sand (Meyer, 2012). <br /> The uppermost bedrock unit in the Site vicinity is the Upper Cambrian St. Lawrence Formation (Mossler, <br /> 2012).The St. Lawrence Formation is described as light gray to yellowish-gray and pale yellowish-green, <br /> dolomitic,feldspathic siltstone with interbedded very fine-grained sandstone and shale. <br /> The depth to bedrock in the Site vicinity is approximately 150 feet to 200 feet below land surface <br /> (Mossler, 2012). <br /> BRAUN <br /> INTERTEC <br />
