For the August meeting staff would like to <br />concentrate on the level of service issues as this affects all other areas. The other topics <br />can be discussed at length at subsequent meetings. <br /> <br />Level of service provided in RTC .:.. . <br />1.. 1 Normal trigger point for plowing is 2". Do we use that point in RTC?' <br /> <br />1.2 Sidewalk snow removal -PW responsibility or business owner or combination? If <br /> business' owner/resident what is the time flame allowed? <br />1.3 Are sidewalks going to be treated by the city after plowing? <br />1.4 Priority of snow removal on sidewalks/trails <br />1.5 Plowing of private roads and sidewalks? Coordination of effort <br />1.6 Designate priority plow routes in town center <br />1.7 Snow emergency routes <br /> <br />Parking restrictions and enforcement in RTC <br />2.1 Do we retain the current ordinance restricting parking from 2am-6am on city <br /> streets? <br />2.2 Who orders towing for violators? <br />2.3 Does cun'ent towing contractor have enough equipment to handle job-can we hire <br /> outside help without breaking our contract? <br />2.4 Can the police provide an officer to oversee towing?-traffic control <br />2.4 Parking restrictions in city owned ramps <br />2.5 Parking on private roads during and after snow storm <br /> <br />3. Snow storage <br /> <br />3.1 Location of dump sites <br />3.2 On site storage allowed for business owners-do we care <br />3.3 Improvements to site needed (haul road) <br />3.4 Security of site (lighting-fencing) <br />3.5 Is site open to private contractors?
