OFFICE OF <br />ANOKA COUNTY AUDITOR <br /> <br />ANOKA, {ViINNESOTA 65303 <br /> <br /> 421-4760 <br /> <br />June 17, 1970 <br /> <br />To Town, City and Viilage Clerks: <br /> <br /> Enclosed please find Certificate of County Board of <br />Classification of Forfeited Lands as provided by Chapter <br />386, Laws 1935 as amended--f~r~your~consideration. <br /> <br />Please present this Certificate to your Board or' Council <br />at its next meeting. <br /> <br />It is urgent that this Certificate with your approval on <br />it be returned to this office by JULY 15, 1970 , so that <br />we may prepare the proper resolution and advertise a sale. <br />This certificate must be in this office before we can have <br />a sale. <br /> <br />You will note that in the last column headed "Tax yaar upon <br />which forfeiture is based" means that is the firsn year the <br />tax went delinquent--such as 1960 would mean the 1960 taxes <br />payable in 1961. This is noted for the benefit of the <br />municipalities that have special assessments on those pro- <br />perties since the first year of delinquency, and it is the <br />municipalities' responsibility to determine the amount subject <br />to special assessments. <br /> <br />The ORIGINAL is to be returned to this office and the copy re- <br />tained for your files. <br /> <br /> KENNETH W.
