Councilmember LeTourneau introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #17-03-066 <br /> RESOLUTION APPOINTING AND RE-APPOINTING BOARD AND COMMISSION <br /> MEMBERS <br /> WHEREAS, there are open seats on the City's boards and commissions as of April 1, <br /> 2017; and <br /> WHEREAS, the vacancies were advertised in the Ramsey Resident, the Anoka County <br /> Union, on the City's website, on the City's community sign, on QCTV, on the City's Facebook, <br /> and via the city's email notification system; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council conducted interviews on March 14, 2017; and <br /> WHEREAS, per Minnesota Statue 469.095, pertaining to the Mayor's authority to <br /> appoint members to the Economic Develop Authority (EDA), Mayor Strommen indicated that <br /> she will select Mr. Glen Hardin to be re-appointed to the EDA; and the City Council indicated <br /> approval with the Mayor's selection, as follows: <br /> Economic Development *Glen Hardin 6-year full term (04-01-17 to 03-31-23); and <br /> Authority <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council agreed by consensus to the following remaining <br /> appointments to the boards and commissions, as follows: <br /> Environmental *Jane Covart 4-year full term (04-01-17 to 03-31-21) <br /> Policy Board <br /> Park and Recreation *Russel Bayer 4-year full term (04-01-17 to 03-31-21) <br /> Commission Jennifer Leistico 4-year full term (04-01-17 to 03-31-21) <br /> Charles Tchuinkwa 2-year partial term (04-01-17 to 03-31-19) <br /> Planning Commission Cheri Gengler 4-year full term (04-01-17 to 03-31-21) <br /> *Cindy Nosan 1-year partial term (04-01-17 to 03-31-18) <br /> Matt Woestehoff 3-year partial term (04-01-18 to 03-31-21) <br /> *Indicates a re-appointment <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council recommends appointing Matt Woestehoff to the <br /> Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee, effective 04-01-17 to 03-31-18.. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />
