CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> The Ramsey City Council conducted a City Council Work Session on Tuesday, March 28, 2017, <br /> at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> Members Present: Mayor Sarah Strommen <br /> Councilmember Jill Johns <br /> Councilmember Mark Kuzma <br /> Councilmember John LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Chris Riley <br /> Councilmember Melody Shryock <br /> Councilmember Kristine Williams <br /> Also Present: City Administrator Kurds Ulrich <br /> Finance Director Diana Lund <br /> Parks and Assistant Public Works Superintendent Mark Riverblood <br /> Public Works Superintendent Grant Riemer <br /> Community Development Director Timothy Gladhill <br /> City Engineer Bruce Westby <br /> Asst. City Administrator/Economic Development Manager Patrick Brama <br /> Attorney with Briggs & Morgan Sara Edstrom Smith <br /> 1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Strommen called the City Council Work Session to order at 5:33 p.m. <br /> 2. TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br /> 2.01: Review McDonald's Project Alternatives <br /> City Administrator Ulrich reviewed the staff report. He stated that although not included in the <br /> staff report, staff reached a negotiated agreement with McDonald's last year in which <br /> McDonald's received an extension and was to supply a non-returnable escrow of $5,000. He <br /> noted that McDonald's did not supply the $5,000 escrow. <br /> Councilmember LeTourneau asked the purchase price the City received from McDonald's for <br /> the property. <br /> City Administrator Ulrich stated that McDonald's paid $470,000 for the parcel but the City used <br /> $40,000 of those proceeds to bring utilities to the property. <br /> Councilmember LeTourneau asked the net proceeds of the sale. <br /> City Council Work Session/March 28,2017 <br /> Page 1 of 6 <br />
