He stated that the applicants have provided supporting documentation including <br /> certifications of completion of a beekeeping course through the University of Minnesota. <br /> Councilmember Kuzma asked if the applicants planned to sell the honey. <br /> Michael St. Clair, the applicant, replied that the plan does not includes sales at this time but <br /> perhaps that could be an option in the future. <br /> Motion by Councilmember LeTourneau, seconded by Councilmember Johns, to Adopt <br /> Resolution #17-04-086 Approving a Beekeeping License on a Residential Property Generally <br /> Known as 5805 148th Lane NW. <br /> Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Strommen, Councilmembers LeTourneau, Johns, Kuzma, <br /> Riley, Shryock, and Williams. Voting No: None. <br /> 7.02: Consider Adoption of Resolution #17-04-089 Approving Riverstone Environmental <br /> Assessment Worksheet (EAW) for Distribution; Case of Capstone Homes (Project <br /> No. 17-106) <br /> Community Development Director Gladhill reviewed the staff report and recommendation to <br /> authorize the distribution of the EAW for Riverstone Addition. <br /> Motion by Councilmember Kuzma, seconded by Councilmember Johns, to Adopt Resolution <br /> #17-04-089 Authorizing the Distribution of the Riverstone Addition Environmental Assessment <br /> Worksheet. <br /> Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Strommen, Councilmembers Kuzma, Johns, LeTourneau, <br /> Riley, Shryock, and Williams. Voting No: None. <br /> 7.03: Consider Adoption of Resolution #17-04-080 Authorizing the City of Ramsey to <br /> Purchase Real Property and Submit a RALF Program Application to the <br /> Metropolitan Council <br /> Assistant City Administrator/Economic Development Manager Brama reviewed the staff report <br /> and noted that staff is comfortable moving forward with formally applying to the Metropolitan <br /> RALF program. He stated that staff has had several conversations with MnDOT and the <br /> Metropolitan Council regarding this project and both groups have expressed preliminary support <br /> for the application. <br /> Motion by Councilmember Shryock, seconded by Councilmember Johns, to Adopt Resolution <br /> #17-04-080 Authorizing the City of Ramsey to Purchase Real Property and Submit a RALF <br /> Program Application to the Metropolitan Council. <br /> Motion carried.
