yrvEmu) Ipsr c:vavivinmviNExl 5: Lang ana Leuoux <br /> RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE <br /> APPROVAL AND ADOPTION OF THE <br /> MISSISSIPPI WEST REGIONAL PARK MASTER PLAN <br /> WHEREAS, it is necessary and in the public interest for the County of Anoka to provide open <br /> space recreational facilities within the County; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Anoka has worked with the City of Ramsey and other regulating <br /> agencies in a cooperative effort to locate and develop a regional park in the city; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Anoka and the Metropolitan Council have designated Mississippi <br /> West a regional park; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Anoka has through studies and evaluations developed a park <br /> development program for Mississippi West, which is required to be approved by the Metropolitan <br /> Council; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council requires a Mississippi West Master Plan for this regional <br /> park; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the local city representatives have reviewed and commented on the plan: <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anoka County Board of Commissioners <br /> hereby adopts the Mississippi West Regional Park Master Plan which is dated December 2010, a copy of <br /> which is on file in the office of Anoka County administrator, 2100 3rd Ave., Anoka, MN 55303, and <br /> authorizes its submission to the Metropolitan Council for its approval so that park development will be <br /> eligible for future Metropolitan Council grant funding. <br /> BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution and Master Plan be forwarded to the <br /> Metropolitan Council, Anoka County Parks and Recreation Department, and the City of Ramsey. <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA) <br /> COUNTYOFANOKA ) 'U YES NO <br /> I, Terry L.
