CASE # 7 <br /> ADOPT ORDINANCE VACATING UNDERLYING DRAINAGE AND UTILITY <br /> EASEMENTS IN GATEWAY NORTH INDUSTRIAL PARK NO. 5; <br /> CASE OF CITY OF RAMSEY AND BASALT PROPERTIES <br /> By: Megan Wald, Associate Planner <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The City Council recently approved the final plat of Basalt Office Park 2nd Addition. The plat re- <br />subdivided Lot 2, Block 1, Gateway North Industrial Park No. 5, into two buildable lots. The <br />property is located at the corner of 141st Avenue and Ebony Street. The City Council also <br />recently approved site plans for the development of office and warehouse multi-tenant buildings <br />on the newly created lots. The final plat for Basalt Office Park 2nd Addition will create new <br />drainage and utility easements. Therefore, the existing drainage and utility easements be vacated. <br /> <br />The following items are enclosed for your information: <br /> <br /> a) Site location map <br /> b) Final Plat <br /> d) Ordinance <br /> <br />Notification: <br /> <br />In accordance with State Statute, City Staff attempted to notify property owners within 350 feet <br />of the subject property of the public hearing to vacate easements. <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />The City Council introduced the ordinance on September 13, 2004; the ordinance is ready for <br />adoption. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />City Staff recommends adopting the enclosed ordinance. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to adopt Ordinance #04- to vacate underlying drainage and utility easements on Lot 2, <br />Block 1, Gateway North Industrial Park No. 5. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />Asst.
