Councilmcmber Elvig introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION//04-09-264 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 2004 SCHEDULE OF RATES, FEES AND CHARGES <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the current Schedule of Rates, Fees, and Charges was adopted by the <br />Ramsey City Council on November 25, 2003, and amended on December 9, 2003, February 22, <br />2004 and August 10, 2004; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the current 2004 Schedule of Rates, Fees and Charges, does not distinguish <br />between cmnmercial and residential construction for sewer and water permits; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Council determined that the Sewer and water trunk charges amended at the <br />August 10, 2004 City Council meeting, needed to be gradually increased; and <br /> <br /> WIIEREAS, Daycare Inspection fees needs to be added to the fire protection services <br />fees adopted on August 10, 2004; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the City Council meeting of September 13, 2004, staff was given <br />approval to amend the 2004 Schedule of Rates, Fees and Charges with the changes noted. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the 2004 Schedule of Rates, Fees, and Charges is hereby amended to establish the <br /> <br />following: <br /> Water Trunk Charge <br /> Sewer Trunk Charge <br /> Sewer Permit -Commercial <br /> Water Permit - Commercial <br /> Daycare Inspection Fee <br /> <br />$1,577/unit <br />$ 897/unit <br />1% of Job Value/minimum $200 <br />1% of Job Value/minimum $200 <br />$40/per trip <br /> <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Cook <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Kurak <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Cook <br />Councilmember Pearson <br />Councihnember Strommen <br />Councihnember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against: <br /> <br />Nronc <br /> <br /> <br />
