Councilmember Elvig introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION #04-09-266 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PROPOSED 2004, PAYABLE. 2005, EDA TAX LEVY <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, COUNTY OF ANOKA, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the following proposed levy for certified 2004, payable 2005, be levied upon the <br />taxable property in said City of Ramsey, Anoka County, State of Minnesota for the <br />following purposes: <br /> <br />RECOMMENDED EDALEVY <br /> <br />$ 200,306 <br /> <br />TOTAL PROPOSED LEVIES <br /> <br />$ 200,306 <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the City Administrator/Clerk be directed to transmit a certified copy of this <br />resolution to the Anoka County Auditor's Office on or before Wednesday, September 15, <br />2004. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Kurak and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Kurak <br />Councihnember Elvig <br />Councilmember Cook <br />Councihnember Pearson <br />Councihnember Strommen <br /> <br />and the t'ollowing voted against the same: <br /> <br /> Councihnember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />Nonc <br /> <br /> <br />
