<br />COllllCill1lember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #04- <br /> <br />A RI~SOLUTION ADOPTING FINDING OF FACT #_ RELATING TO A REQUEST <br />FROM CHAD AND LISA LINDGREN FOR A HOME OCCUPATION PERlVIIT TO <br />r~STABLrSH AN TN-HOME HAIR SALON ON THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 5561 <br />145'1'11 CIRCLE NW. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey received an application from Chad and Lisa Lindgren <br />for a home occupation permit to operate a one-chair hair salon within the dwelling on the <br />property generally known as 5561 145[h Circle NW and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />Lot 15, Block 2, Wood Pond I--Iills 5th Addition, Alloka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />(the "Subject Property") <br /> <br />NOW THEHEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA that the findings of fact relating' <br />to th c req uest are determined to be as follows: <br /> <br />l. That on September 3, 2004, Chad and Lisa Lindgren, hereinafter referred to as <br />"Applicants", properly applied for a home occupation permit to establish and operate a <br />one-chair salon in their home. <br /> <br />2. That the Applicants appeared before the Ramsey Planning Commission for a public <br />hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.05 of the City Code on October 7, 2004, and that said <br />public hearing was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are <br />hereby incorporated as a part of these findings by reference. <br /> <br />3. That the Subject Property is zoned R-l Single Family Residential. <br /> <br />4. That the Subject Property is approximately 0.3 acres in size. <br /> <br />5. That hair salons are not a permitted use in the R-l Single Family Residential District. <br /> <br />6. That the Applicant has provided documentation to support that the home occupation will <br />be conducted within the private dwelling on the property, that the area set aside for the <br />home occupation does not exceed 20% of the total floor area of the private dwelling, and <br />the operation will not include any employment of persons not residing in the private <br />dwelltng tn the performance of the home occupation. <br /> <br />7. That the Applicam will reside at the location of the proposed home occupation. <br /> <br />8. Thal tbe Applicant has stated that there will be no exterior storage of business equipment <br />and materials. <br /> <br />9. l'haltbe Applicant proposes to service approximately 8-24 clients per week on Tuesdays, <br />Wednesdays. Thursdays, and Saturdays, <br /> <br />21 <br />
