1951950 <br /> <br />Councilmember Cook introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #03-08-218 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />TO GERALD AND KAREN SCHMIDT TO EXCEED THE SIZE RESTRICTIONS FOR <br />A DETACHED ACCESSORY BUILDING ON PROPERTY FROM 14,880-43,559 <br />SQUARE FEET AND DECLARING TERMS OF SAME: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Gerald and Karen Schmidt (Permittees) have properly applied for a <br />conditional use permit to exceed detached accessory building size restrictions for properties from <br />14,880-43,559 square feet established in section 9.11.02 "Accessory Uses" of City Code on the <br />property generally known as 15243 Yakima Street NW and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />Lot 2, Block 1, Gorhams Sandy Acres, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />(Subject Property) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission met on August 7, 2003, conducted the <br />public hearing and recommended City Council approval of the request. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />Based on Findings of Fact #0645, a Conditional Use Permit (Permit) to exceed detached <br />accessory building size restrictions for properties from 14,880-43,559 square feet as <br />established in City Code, is hereby granted to Gerald and Karen Schmidt, hereinafter referred <br />to as the "Permittees". <br /> <br />That the detached accessory building may exceed the 1,488-square-foot detached accessory <br />building size restriction for properties from 14,880-43,559 square feet by a total of 456 <br />square feet in order to store vehicles and other personal property. <br /> <br />3. That the detached accessory building constructed on the property will comply with the <br /> permitted accessory structure height restrictions established in City Code. <br /> <br />That the construction of the detached accessory building on the Subject Property shall require <br />issuance of a building permit from the City of Ramsey and the Permittees are allowed to use <br />vinyl or hardboard siding as exterior material for the building. <br /> <br /> <br />
