1951950 Councilmember Cook introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #03-08-218 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO GERALD AND KAREN SCHMIDT TO EXCEED THE SIZE RESTRICTIONS FOR A DETACHED ACCESSORY BUILDING ON PROPERTY FROM 14,880-43,559 SQUARE FEET AND DECLARING TERMS OF SAME: WHEREAS, Gerald and Karen Schmidt (Permittees) have properly applied for a conditional use permit to exceed detached accessory building size restrictions for properties from 14,880-43,559 square feet established in section 9.11.02 "Accessory Uses" of City Code on the property generally known as 15243 Yakima Street NW and legally described as follows: Lot 2, Block 1, Gorhams Sandy Acres, Anoka County, Minnesota (Subject Property) WHEREAS, the Planning Commission met on August 7, 2003, conducted the public hearing and recommended City Council approval of the request. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: Based on Findings of Fact #0645, a Conditional Use Permit (Permit) to exceed detached accessory building size restrictions for properties from 14,880-43,559 square feet as established in City Code, is hereby granted to Gerald and Karen Schmidt, hereinafter referred to as the "Permittees". That the detached accessory building may exceed the 1,488-square-foot detached accessory building size restriction for properties from 14,880-43,559 square feet by a total of 456 square feet in order to store vehicles and other personal property. 3. That the detached accessory building constructed on the property will comply with the permitted accessory structure height restrictions established in City Code. That the construction of the detached accessory building on the Subject Property shall require issuance of a building permit from the City of Ramsey and the Permittees are allowed to use vinyl or hardboard siding as exterior material for the building.
