Public Works Committee <br />Meeting Date: 04/18/2017 <br />Submitted For: Grant Riemer, Engineering/Public Works <br />By: Grant Riemer, Engineering/Public Works <br />6. 1. <br />Title: <br />Large Diameter Culvert Inspection Report <br />Purpose/Background: <br />The Public Works Committee had requested staff to perform an inspection of our larger diameter culverts, so <br />replacement needs could be anticipated and added to our Capital Improvement Program for future funding. That list <br />and staff recommendations are attached to this case. City staff performed an inspection of 10 culverts that, at times, <br />carry a significant amount of water under our roadways. One of the culverts inspected staff felt, should be <br />considered for replacement in 2017, while the others can delayed and included in street improvement projects or <br />added to the CIP. <br />Timeframe: <br />10 minutes <br />Observations/Alternatives: <br />NA <br />Funding Source: <br />NA <br />Recommendation: <br />Informational only at this time.
